Azide-x-Maleimide is one of CBP’s thiol reactive alkyne-azide click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing free thiol/sulfhydryl groups. Reaction between maleimide and sulfhydryl group results a stable thio-ether. Meanwhile, Azide can react with alkyne with copper catalyst or (Cyclo-alkyne) DBCO group easily without need any copper catalyst.
