Alkyne Click Reagents
Alkyne click reagents are versatile bioconjugation molecules that contain a terminal alkyne functional group for highly selective labeling through click chemistry. They react with azide-functionalized molecules via copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) or with strained azide-reactive partners under appropriate conditions to form stable triazole linkages. Due to their small size, chemical stability, and efficient conjugation, alkyne reagents are widely used for labeling proteins, nucleic acids, glycans, and other biomolecules in applications including imaging, affinity purification, diagnostics, drug discovery, and targeted bioconjugation.
