Description
Thiol-X-COOH (HS-x-COOH) is one of CBP’s thiol-ene click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing primary amine groups. There is a medium length PEG linker between Thiol and COOH groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and Thiol groups. Reaction between Carboxylic group and amine group results a stable amide bond. Meanwhile, thiol (-SH) reacts easily with enes such as maleimide or Carbonylacrylic to form stable cyclic conjugates.
