Description
Tetrazine-X-NHS is one of CBP’s diene-tetrazine click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing primary amine groups. There is a medium length PEG linker between Methyltetrazine and NHS groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and tetrazine groups. Reaction between NHS and amine group results a stable amide bond. Meanwhile, Tetrazine can react with dienophiles, such as Norbornene easily.
