Azide DSPE is one of CBP’s phophospholipid conjugates with a terminal azide group for click chemistry reaction. DSPE is a saturated 18 C phospholipid that is highly hydrophobic. Azide, on the other hand, can react directly with Azide without need any catalyst. It can also react with linear alkyne catalyzed by copper (I) catalyst.
