Description
Thiol-X-NHS (HS-x-NHS) is one of CBP’s thiol-ene click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing primary amine groups. There is a medium length PEG linker between Thiol and NHS groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and Thiol groups. Reaction between NHS and amine group results a stable amide bond. Meanwhile, thiol (-SH) reacts easily with enes such as maleimide or carbonylacrylics to form stable cyclic conjugates.
