Description
Tetrazine-X-Maleimide is one of CBP’s diene-tetrazine click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces with free thiol groups. There is a medium length PEG linker between Methyltetrazine and Maleimide groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and tetrazine groups. Reaction between Maleimide and thiol group results a stable thio-ether bond. Meanwhile, Tetrazine can react with dienophiles, such as Norbornene easily.
