4 Arm PEG Norbornene (NBE) is one of CBP’s Pegylated conjugate containing a norbornene-functionalized head group covalently attached to 4 Arm PEG. The norbornene moiety enables rapid and selective inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) click reactions with tetrazine-functionalized molecules under mild, catalyst-free conditions.
Norbornene modified 4 arm PEG is widely used in targeted drug delivery, membrane labeling, biomaterials research, and diagnostic imaging applications. Compared with trans-cyclooctene (TCO), norbornene offers improved chemical stability while maintaining excellent bioorthogonal reactivity toward tetrazines.
