Carbonylacrylic (CBA) Click Reagents
Carbonylacrylic (CBA) click reagents are selective bioconjugation molecules that react rapidly with thiol groups, particularly cysteine residues, through a Michael addition reaction. Unlike traditional maleimide-based reagents, carbonylacrylic reagents form stable thioether linkages with strong resistance to hydrolysis and exchange reactions. Their fast reaction kinetics, chemoselectivity, and conjugate stability make CBA reagents useful for site-specific protein modification, antibody conjugation, peptide labeling, and preparation of biomolecules for imaging, diagnostics, and targeted drug delivery.
