Azide Click Reagents
Azide is one of CBP’s most popular DBCO-reactive click chemistry groups, enabling rapid and efficient conjugation without the use of copper catalysts. Azide reagents contain an azide (-N3) functional group, reacting rapidly with highly strained cyclooctynes such as DBCO through SPAAC (strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition). Due to their small size, chemical stability, and compatibility with physiological conditions, azide reagents are widely used for labeling proteins, nucleic acids, cells, antibodies, and other biomolecules in applications including imaging, bioconjugation, and targeted delivery.
