Description
Norbornene(NBE)-X-COOH is one of CBP’s Norbornene(NBE)-dieno click chemistry functional reagents that have a reactive carboxylic group (-COOH). Carboxylic group is a versatile functional group that can react with amine and hydroxyl group. Reaction between carboxylic and amine group can form stable amide bonds. There is a medium length PEG linker between Norbornene(NBE) and COOH groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and Norbornene(NBE) groups. Meanwhile, Norbornene(NBE) can react with dieno group easily without need any copper catalyst.
