Description
Norbornene-X-NHS (NBE-NHS) is one of CBP’s dienophile-tetrazine click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing primary amine groups. There is a medium length PEG linker between Norbornene and NHS groups that offers better water solubility and sufficient space length between substrates and Norbornene groups. Reaction between NHS and amine group results a stable amide bond. Meanwhile, Norbornene (NBE) reacts easily with tetrazines to form stable cyclic conjugates.
